Surly the squirrel, and his friends live a good life in an abandoned nut store. One day, after an accident, they leave their home and return to the trees of Liberty Park. But with the mayor's plans to bulldoze it and build an amusement park in its place, the animals will have to team up to protect their new home and defeat the ambitious plans that threaten their way of life.
