By using Entertainment Owl (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
What the Service is
Entertainment Owl is a free quiz that recommends movies and series based on your answers, and shows where those titles are streaming for your selected region. We don’t host, stream, or sell any video content ourselves — we link you to the actual streaming platforms. An account is optional and is only needed to save a watchlist.
Accounts
If you sign in, you’re responsible for the security of your Google account and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, bulk-extract, or systematically republish the site’s catalog data
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm others
Accuracy of streaming and title data
Streaming availability, pricing, and title metadata come from third-party sources (the Streaming Availability API by Movie of the Night, and TheTVDB) and are refreshed on a periodic sync, not in real time. A title may show as available somewhere it has actually left, or vice versa, if a platform’s catalog changed since our last sync. We don’t guarantee this data is complete, current, or error-free, and we’re not responsible for changes made by the streaming platforms themselves.
Intellectual property
Movie/series titles, artwork, and metadata belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and discovery purposes. The Entertainment Owl name, logo, and the site’s own design and code are ours; please don’t reuse them without permission.
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recommendation will match your taste.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Entertainment Owl isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on streaming-availability information that turns out to be inaccurate or outdated.
Changes
We may update these terms or the Service itself over time. If a change matters, we’ll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the update.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Gurgaon, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the Service.
