Release Date Set for Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’; Superstar Provides Update on ‘Coolie’

Rajinikanth is all set to dazzle audiences once again with his upcoming film, Vettaiyan. Fans of the legendary actor can mark their calendars as the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on October 25, 2024. Directed by the esteemed filmmaker TJ Gnanavel, Vettaiyan has been generating considerable excitement in the industry, especially with Amitabh Bachchan and Fahadh Faasil also starring in significant roles.

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film promises to be a thrilling action-packed experience, showcasing Rajinikanth in a role that perfectly complements his iconic style and larger-than-life persona. Although the official confirmation of the release date is still pending from the makers, Rajinikanth himself disclosed this information during his recent trip to the Himalayas.

During his ongoing trip to the Himalayas, Rajinikanth engaged in discussions with numerous yogis and sadhus. He shared insights about his upcoming film, Vettaiyan, revealing that his portions for the movie are complete and it’s slated for a Dussehra release around October 10. Meanwhile, shooting with other cast members is still in progress.

He also talked about his collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj on the film titled Coolie. Rajinikanth disclosed his plans to commence shooting for it from June 10 onwards. With Vettaiyan scheduled for release later this year and Coolie progressing in its production journey, 2024 appears to be a significant year for Rajinikanth and his fans.
